Jillsy's Kitchen ~ Easy Peasy Pork Chops

as i was sitting in the car yesterday afternoon coming home from the lake
(yes we stayed one extra day!)
i was contemplating what to make for dinner
considering it was getting to be mid-afternoon and by the time we'd get home
it would be almost 5pm, i had to joggle my noggin for something quick and easy
and there it was...it popped right out from the depths of my brain
a recipe i had received from an old friend many years ago
one than i had not made in awhile

it has no name
so therefore i'm going to call it
easy-peasy pork chops
not that it requires any peas or has anything remotely to do with peas
but because i don't think there is a pork chop recipe out there
that could be any easier and taste so good
( i swear it only takes 5 minutes to prepare, then into the oven)

first wash your pork loin chops then poke with a fork on a baking tin covered in tin foil

get your Grey Poupon!

scoop out a dollop with a spoon and drop onto each pork chop
(make sure to not touch the chops with your spoon since you'll be going back into the jar - i've done that before and then had to throw out the jar)

then take a spatula or knife and spread the mustard over the top and sides

then open a can of French Fried Onions

pour in a bowl and crunch 'em up with your hands

to look like this

sprinkle heavily over the top and side of the chops
and push with your fingers if need be to make them stick

bake @ 350 degrees for about 35-45 minutes depending on the thickness of your chops
and until the onions are golden brown

then serve and enjoy ~ they really are delicious!
